Bolder Creek Farm is in the process of becoming a full service training and breeding facility. We currently have a round pen and pasture for boarding/training and have future plans to build a stable and indoor arena. There will be a separate barn with foaling stalls and breeding area which will include the ability to perform AI and semen collection/shipping/evaluation. We will keep you informed as we progress in our building!
Each horse is evaluated to figure out which discipline it is best suited for and then training done slowly to make sure everything is done to our best potential and the horse is never pushed beyond their capabilities. Relationships with the horses are built on trust, not fear, here at the farm.
Jason has owned horses for over 30 years and has extensive experience with racehorses. His childhood was spent raised on a cattle ranch in Valley, WA where he was involved in 4-H showing cattle and horses. He raced horses for many years up in Republic, WA at the fair. After high school he was involved in rodeo for many years. He is also experienced in farrier work, colt starting, trail riding, hunting and working cows on horseback.
April has over 20 years of experience owning, breeding, showing, and training (dressage, jumping, western pleasure, hunter, reining, barrels, and trail) and uses a combination of natural horsemanship methods mixed with classical dressage/western dressage. She grew up in Machias, WA and was very involved in 4-H throughout the years. She also has experience working with adopted Mustangs and is a certified veterinary assistant.
